The Friends of the Tanana Valley Railroad have many events each year – like our Open House, Annual Halloween Town & Spooky Train, and more! See below for events coming up – we look foreword to seeing you!

2019 Halloween Town & Spooky Train

Calling all ghosts, goblins, ghouls, vampires, zombies, witches, and wizards! You’re invited to join us for the frighteningly spooky Halloween Town and Spooky Train! Put on your best outfit, trick or treat in Halloween Town, play games for a chance to win candy and prizes, warm up with some Death By Chocolate Cocoa, or some Sinfully Sweet Hot Apple Cider! Take a ride on the Spooky Train, if you dare, where you’ll see the frights and scares of the park on the most frightening of nights!

Saturday, October 26, from 12 – 7pm at Pioneer Park

2019 Holiday Train

Join Santa & Mrs. Claus at the Tanana Valley Railroad Museum to kick off the Holiday Season! Visit with Santa, sing carols with the Lathrop and Mrs. Claus, visit the Holiday Bazaar at the Pioneer Hall, ride the Holiday Train with Santa’s elves, and warm up with some free cocoa and cookies! This event is free and open to everyone. No tickets needed.

Saturday, November 30 from 11am – 5pm at Pioneer Park

Movie Night at the Museum

Come see the essential Disney holiday classic, the Polar Express! Two evening showings, this event is free but space is limited. Come down and watch this amazing movie and warm up with some free cocoa and a great movie!
